Your Window on the Secret World of Bees
One of the Garden Hive’s most popular features is the glass window that runs nearly the full length of the hive body. Standard placement is on the south side of the east-facing hive but you can request placement on the north side. Or you can order two windows to really light up the interior.
As you can see from the photos, you will have an intimate view of the colony at work. 
This is no gimmick – you can check the feeder or look for small hive beetles, Varroa mites, spot K-wing syndrome and condensation without going into the hive. Set a comfy bench alongside your hive and enjoy the show!
The window is shuttered with a cypress door featuring solid brass hinges and knob and which latches with a hand-made turn button attached with a brass screw. Each piece of brass hardware is given a special finish in our shop so that each piece is unique. This is not your ordinary bee hive!
